About Sara Garden

My passion has always been in helping people, through creating the safe holding space, feeling unconditional positive regard, facilitating insight, and igniting long-lasting meaning and change.

How We can work together

I strive for a more transparent and authentic relationship with my clients. I believe it is this authentic relationship that can help people feel truly seen and accepted for their vulnerable self in an intimate and non-judgmental way. Everything people say or do is communicating something about their internal world, both from the past and present. In my theory, clients are able to reconstruct, retell, and rediscover new meaning into their story.

I believe that you are the true expert on your life. With the proper warm, open, and empathetic environment, therapy can be a place to empower you and re-discover the strength that has always been inside of you, but can sometimes get forgotten along the way. I hold a holistic view of my clients that includes all parts that is uniquely relevant and important to them.

Together, we can look at your presenting issues and concerns, where they may have stemmed form, and how they are continuing to affect your current functioning in order to help you lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I believe the goal in therapy should be overall personal healing, going beyond symptom reduction in order for you to create and sustain long-lasting growth.
